In Matthew 6.34, it says ‘Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own’. If we trust God and believe His Word is true, then we believe that He will meet every need. Philippians 4.19, ‘And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus’.
Is your trust in God alone? How many of us can say with boldness that God alone is our Provider? How easy it is to nurture provision via our savings account, our job, career-ranking, investment choices. Without dismissing the importance of saving, labouring and making wise financial choices and investment, these things do not equate to provision.
